Join the Southwest Branch as we tour Argonne National Laboratory. Argonne is a multidisciplinary science and engineering research center, where “dream teams” of world-class researchers work alongside experts from industry, academia and other government laboratories to address vital national challenges in clean energy, environment, technology and national security. The two hour tour will include a visit to the transportation research center and solar array as well as a tour of the Advanced Photon Source. Following the tour light appetizers and adult beverages will be served at the Gordon Biersch Brewery.
Please note that the tour is limited to 40 people.

We will meet at the Gordon Biersch Brewery where a bus will take us to the lab. The bus will return to Gordon Biersch at approximately 4:00.
Note required attire: long pants and flat, closed-toe shoes. A photo I.D., such as driver’s license or passport, is required. Please contact Allison if you are not a US citizen. Non-US citizens will need to complete and submit a form to the lab for review and approval one week prior to the tour date.
Do not show up at Argonne Lab! Do not be late! The bus will leave promptly at 1:15 from the Gordon Biersch parking lot. Bring photo ID and wear long pants and closed toe shoes!
